Is the book disappearing? Will books be in museums and expensive? Is it good to transfer to ebooks or to stick with books? Our environment is changing and which one of these would you live with? radiation and nuclear power spreading around the world or billions of trees cut every year making oxygen harder to find.
Apparently a third of our class are already starting to use ebooks, now just imagine the whole world which use ebooks, iPads or other technological devices that have books. What would happen to our schools. When I started primary we all used books and our teachers read books to us. Will that happen in the future? Already parents and teaching their children by tablet than books. Don't you remember that your mum or dad came up to you with a book and say cow goes moo sheep goes baa but now you have a tablet to do everything for you.
So is it better to change to ebooks and tablets? Some people say yes because you can interact and do interesting things with that you cannot do with books.

Waitangi Day
The people are holding this banner because they are celebrating the Treaty of Waitangi.
The treaty of waitangi was signed because other countries wanted to move to New Zealand and when Captain James Cook came he decided to make a treaty to make this a free country with the Maori's. In 1840 on the 6th of February the treaty was about to be signed in the bay of islands. 40 Maori chefs came and 500 Maori's including 15 came as well to sign the treaty. But only 33 Maoris only signed the treaty. So every year on the 6th of February New Zealand celebrate the Treaty of Waitangi in different cities but they do a special celebration in Waitangi treaty grounds. So just remember on the 6th of February a day that we share this land with the Maori's and we become one.
