Short Story

Today I have to right a story about a taxi an old enemy and Valentines Day.

One happy day I was walking across the street to get to the other side to get to the cinema. Then suddenly out from the open a taxi came speeding out and knocked me over! Once I got up I was trying to see who was in the car but I couldn't see. Then out came a Person that I thought I used to know and then I knew... It was my old enemy! We argued and screamed while standing on the road. Lots of honking lots of yelling and now everyone was angry because they couldn't go across the road. About now people were standing on their cars yelling and screaming at us even though, we were angrily fighting so we didn't notice. But suddenly out of the sky Valentine gifts came falling from the sky since it was Valentines day. The gifts were balloons, flowers, chocolate, cards and lots more. But apparently a card came flying down and gave my old enemy a paper cut! I was laughing and laughing and my enemy got scared and ran away. All the gifts falling from the sky made everyone smile and happy. Then people got in their cars fixed up with their mistakes and then it went back to a normal day. But incase you didn't notice I am a chicken so tell your children what actually happened when the chicken crossed the road.

End of term 2 review!

Start of term 2:
At the start of term two I had to get used to things since I was back at school although, I was really happy that I could see my friends again. I was abit happy because it was a nine week term but, we still had lots of things ahead of us. But one thing I didn't want to come up was Science Fair!

Science Fair:
Sooner or later my teacher says 11 days left! I haven't even done my experiments I was doing my experiments when I went home trying to finish very quickly. While that was happening the worse thing came to me I was sick! When I finished all of my experiments I had to print it all out. So I went to school the next day. Some of them thought I haven't done it because I was so ill too long. On the day Mrs C checks my science fair and she says "you're good to go!" It was 2 days left it was the weekends I glue everything on make sure it is all correct and handed it in on Monday.

Cross Country:
We all got to the the start then 3 2 1 GO! I was rushing through trying to catch up to my friend Josh but he was too far ahead. I ran the whole course and when I got to the end the teacher said good job Jeremy. But there was something wrong! I was gonna vomit! I quickly handed my card in having that thought in my head that Mrs Mills said to us, (if you are going to vomit on my shoes, you will have to lick them off!) Sian gave me water I gobbled it up I didn't care it felt like I splashed the whole thing on my face I didn't know. I quickly collapsed on the ground while Sian was saying "inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth." That really helped me and I felt alot better so SIAN SAVED THE DAY!

Maths:
I was really excited about math and it was my favourite subject. We were learning about graphs and data. I'm not really interested in it but I don't care it was still math. We learnt lots throughout the term like Box and whisker plots and Scatter plots and much more. Hopefully we are doing Geometry next term because thats my favourite maths subject because I want to become an architect.

Technology:
This term for technology I did music and science. I really liked music because we got to make ads and play musical instruments and lots more. It was really cool we got to do concerts and the people who played piano got to play on the modern piano. When it came to science I wasn't really excited but the one thing I was excited about we got a reliever plus the experiments are awesome! Our focus this week was energy.

Students in high school with long hair

Most students around New Zealand have mufti as their school uniform. Well some kids that have mufti as their uniform but students made their hair long and don't tie them up. A year 12 student Lucan Battison was suspended from the St Johns College's principal around last month for having long hair. The rule at that state was that the students hair must be out of their eyes and should be off their collar. So he tried different ways to not make his hair long like tying it into the bun but the school did not allow it but, what the school wanted him to do was to cut his hair. Around that week Lucan and his school got sent to court about this problem. After the court room was finished the St Johns College's principal was not happy about the decision the court made but what is going to happen now?

Today we looked at a chart on wikipedia of the climate of New Zealand.
 Here is the chart:

Today I am going to use subordinating conjunctions below to make 10 statements related to the chart.

because:
Alexandra has the coldest temperature because, the chart dips down in June and July.

although:
Hamilton has the highest temperature in January, although Napier and Alexandra have the highest temperature in January too.

even if
Even if Hokitika was hot, it will still be raining.
